1) What exactly is this?

You are banned to leech/download if your ratio is less than 0.4 and download > 20gb. However You are allowed to seed to meet the ratio requirements. To come out of the ban you need to reach ratio < 0.45

2) Why is this required?

To make sure that all members of SD have access to download stuff posted here. If everyone downloads movies/music etc without seeding (Hit & Run) we lose interest in posting stuff just for the simple reason that we have to seed them for really long time...which isnt practically possible......As it is always said "sharing is caring" make sure that you seed all the torrents till you reach the ratio of 1 (atleast)...it isnt tough either........

3)How does it work?

Until your download reaches 20gb there is no ratio restriction. Once 20gb download is reached and if your ratio at that time is less than 0.4 you are banned to leech. So you have enough time to reach that ratio. To download again you ratio has to be greater than 0.45

5) Where can I find my Upload,download and ratio info?

Top right hand corner on home page and under bittorrent tab in your profile.

6) Where can find which movies I have downloaded and which movies I can seed.

Same as above.

7) How can improve my Ratio?

First seed whatever you download. Don't delete the torrent once download is done. Keep seeding as long as you can.

You can share your movies/music you have.

8) Is there anyway I can come out of this ban immediatly?

Yes. You can request bandwidth from others but you need to be active member in the forums to get any response.

9) Can I buy bandwidth to improve ratio?
